“We cannot have the current level of wage increases” says the Governor of the BoE who is on a salary of circa £750k. Almost every worker has had real-terms pay cuts over the last 15-years. This crises is driven by bulging profits, corporate greed and multinational tax fraud.
This is peak capitalism. “Shut up and stay poor peasants” is the message.
Nearly 100,000 more deaths in England involving heart conditions and stokes than usual since the pandemic began. Where are the government press briefings to explain this?
When Corbyn’s Labour tried to remove ‘rebellious’ figures, like say Tom Watson, the Guardian and co were incandescent. Naturally, now that the shoe is on the other foot, it’s the right thing to do.

The new agency staff start their first day at P&O Ferries!
The monarchy; the honours system; private education; the voting system; denying 16 year olds the vote; the House of Lords; the Westminster centric power bases. All exist to keep power with the elite & to deny ordinary people their rights. Time to rip it all up.
Imagine this guy standing to be MP in your constituency and then going into a voting booth and putting your X against his name? No, neither can I.
James O'Brien knew exactly what the Tories would do if Jeremy Corbyn was not elected Prime Minister. And still did everything he could to prevent Jeremy Corbyn becoming Prime Minister.
Anyone with half a clue knew from day 1 that Johnson was unfit to be PM and that his tenure would be a disaster. He thought it would be a great laugh, he’d deliver a great Brexit, he’d be loved. He’ll be remembered as an incompetent liar. That’s going to really hurt him.
