MOd stay HOURS after shift is done to ease the load on the night staff. If a crit case is present the nurses and docs stay until the ER is calm enough. The attendants follow us everywhere cleaning blood and vomit and just because they don't have a degree no salary increase. What.
For perspective 10% is like 1800 mvr only for the whole month. We were always short staffed but we were okay with the other one helping because we know if they stay they are compensated. Now we are encouraging all to go home immediately when time is done.
Who in their right minds decided to cap overtime @ 10% of basic for medical staff? This isn't some paperwork or a discussion we can pause and continue tomorrow. We are talking about lives here. This is the one if not the only field where not working overtime has dire consequences

Maybe it's because we can barely afford living and rent and loans and maybe getting a child might not be the best idea on an already extremely stretched budget. Not everyone has the budget or space for the healthy upbringing of a child.
This is so wrong. We need to start increasing our population before ending up with an aged population. Only less than 300 births in June. Numbers in the South are even more worrying.
