At last nights AGM it was revealed we at Limerick Suicide Watch have saved 130 lives in the last year. That’s 130 people we have prevented from taking their own life. I’m incredibly passionate about suicide prevention & proud to be a volunteer with LSW. #Volunteers #SavingLives

Saw Nicole Scherzinger in Sunset Boulevard last night and it was one of the best things I have ever seen 🙌🏼

Busy night last night with Limerick Suicide Watch. Big thank you to the emergency services 🚨 who as always were fantastic, in particular Limerick Gardaí 👮🏻👮🏻‍♀️ who we dealt with a number of times on different calls. Couldn’t do what we do without their assistance.

End of a very busy few days at the Limerick Vacciantion Centre. Trojan work from staff working long hours to get all healthcare workers 👩🏻‍⚕️🚑🧑🏽‍⚕️🏥👨🏻‍⚕️ their boosters ASAP 💉🦠 Very proud to be part of the Limerick vaccination team.

End of a busy few days volunteering. Missing person search with Clare Civil Defence & Suicide prevention patrol with LSW. Being a volunteer is an incredibly rewarding experience. Even on the tough days, the difference you make to the loved ones family makes what we do worth it.

Superb coffee ☕️👌🏼

Just finished my last day at the current Limerick vaccination centre before starting in our new location next week. Proud to be part of the Midwest vaccination team who will continue to give it everything for next couple of months to get all vaccinated ASAP 💉💪🏼 #InThisTogether

I’ve been volunteering three of the last six nights and saw each night how exposed our Gardaí are. They can’t police with social distancing, it’s just not possible. This is a shocking example of the risk they put themselves at each shift. #vacccinategardai

A shocking example of the effects that contracting COVID-19 had on a previously healthy colleague. #vaccinategardai

Gardaí are always there to support those in need & now we need to support their call to be vaccinated. It’s not a case of being vaccinated ahead of anyone else, it’s a case of being vaccinated in line with every other frontline service currently being vaccinated. #vaccinategardai

Great to be back volunteering with LSW last night. #HereToHelp #ItsOkNotToBeOk

At the start and end of each patrol with LSW we contact Henry St 👮🏻‍♀️ & Valentia 🚁 Last night when I contacted them at the start of patrol they both gave us the warmest of send offs. At a time when our number of incidents are very high it was a nice boost heading into patrol 😀

Just when we think we can’t admire our Gardaí more than we already do they go and save a beached dolphin 🐬

As a volunteer with Limerick Suicide Watch I see on a weekly basis the compassion & care the Gardaí provide to those struggling with Mental Health. They will be one of the first at the scene & see things those in the hospital can only imagine. An important eye opener. #InsideTheK

Seriously impressed with @dunnesstores this morning. Free tea & coffee offered to everyone in queue. Clear #SocialDistancing guidelines in place & hand sanitizer stations throughout the store.

The cutest thing. Two kids having dinner outside so that they can wave as grandad passes by. They are making a deadly effort to #SocialDistance. Are you? 🤔

Keeping our #MentalHealth healthy during #COVID19 is also important. Some tips are: - Keep a daily routine 🕖 - Go for a walk 🚶🏻‍♂️ - Reduce time on social media 📱 - Reduce alcohol consumption🍷 - Keep in touch with friends 👩🏻‍💻 Samaritans 116 123 / jo@samaritans.ie

Very proud to be Irish tonight. Proud of our strong governmental leadership and heroic frontline staff as we as the strangers pulling together to support one another. We are stronger together and we will beat this. #COVID19ireland

One third of of #COVID19 cases in Ireland are in those aged 24 - 44. Got to wonder if social distancing had been observed during the weekend would this be the case? It’s time now for everyone to step up and act responsibly. This will be a marathon not a sprint. #CoronaIreland

Frustrating to see so many people disregard the importance of social distancing. You have heroic nurses, doctors & ambulance staff 👨🏻‍⚕️👩🏻‍⚕️🚑 working to prevent the spread of #Covid_19ireland and you have absolute idiots prioritizing a trip to the pub 🤦🏻‍♂️

#InsideTheK is genuinely one of the most engaging and insightful programs to air on Irish TV in recent years. Brilliant for the public to get an insight to the reality of policing in Ireland in 2020.
