I'm feeling absolutely incredible. Teaching Students to Drive Their Learning is published with my coauthors, @DFISHERSDSU, @NancyFrey, and @john_hattie I love the pathway we are creating to empower students to be confident to take on challenges!

Great reminder from @DFISHERSDSU & @McGrawHillK12 that scaffolds are meant to be temporary for our learners. We raise them to support, but remove them for learning. Otherwise, we obstruct the learning, much like the view of the Statue of Liberty, if we leave scaffolds up.

Students often see errors as marks on their character. But mistakes? They're chapters in the learning journey. Let's foster environments where errors signal progress & curiosity. Growth isn't about perfection but continuous discovery. When they stumble, it's a setup for a leap.💡
