Based on the context of the report, the External Debt Service payment for June at $54.36 million is currently the lowest external debt service payment this year, contrary to what @legitngnews published.

The correct figure can be sourced from the CBN website, showing that it's $54.3 million, not $543 million posted by LegitNg. cbn.gov.ng/IntOps/Payment…

We wish to clarify to @legitngnews that the actual External Debt Service figure for June 2023 is $54.36 million, not $543 million as published in their recent news report - “Nigeria successfully repays China, World Bank, others $1.17bn loan, still owing more”.

I do believe making a political decision that could adversely affect me for a significant number of years is enough reason to distance myself from you even if the political entities involved wouldn’t.

Worse part is @RhapsNigeria in abuja would rather letin men who plan to drink just cocktails over babes who were planning to order 2-3course meal plus drinks. Make it make sense. Ask other abuja restaurants how things go down here abeg.

I’m tired of Lagos restaurants coming to Abuja and playing the misogyny card. @RhapsNigeria fix up. Women go to restaurants and pay their bills too. You can’t be telling women to get male invite before entering your restaurant. Please drop that nonsense in Lagos.

With the successful issuance of 3 tranches of the SUKUK for various road projects across the country, we are planning to issue another SUKUK to finance infrastructural projects spanning beyond roads. This remains dependent on the market conditions at the time of issuance.

The fund requested isn’t new as erroneously believed. It has already been captured in the 2021 Appropriation Bill (also known as the 2021 Budget) signed by the President on December 31, 2020.

The issue with this tweet is the belief that loyalty and patriotism cannot often go hand in hand. Unless patriotism is under attack due to undue loyalty (which hasn’t occurred in Nigeria when compared to what you’re addressing between Trump/Pence) then why can’t both happen?

Mike Pence refused to overturn the electoral college votes and held his grounds. I wish Osibanjo was this patriotic to Nigerians and the constitution. Loyalty to Buhari does not necessarily equate patriotism. The sad thing is Osibanjo is more educated than Pence.

But up until Monday night, Pence was still with Trump on the use of Congress to question/overturn the election in their favor. You should have asked what suddenly changed overnight? Is it now that he sees defeat he has decided to do “the right thing”?

Atiku @atiku showed a Vice President can stand up against a President in Nigeria. Mike Pence just did one right thing. Atiku stood up to Obasanjo when he wanted to truncate democracy with a third term. Making excuses for Osinbajo is enabling bad behaviour.
