Sure. But I believe that if you live in the West in 2020 and are able-bodied, then your own mindset and actions will determine your outcome far more than anything 'systemic' 99% of the time. People don't like to admit this. They're living in denial.

I love your message of self-responsibility, but don't you think there's a place to discuss "systemic" issues that may hinder people's ability to achieve what they're capable of? I don't see this as an either/or scenario; individual choice takes place within larger context.
