Peel District School Board recognizes November as Hindu Heritage Month and the role they have played and continue to play in communities across Ontario to help build this province into a wonderful place to live, work and raise families.
November is Indigenous Education Month. PDSB students, their families and staff should continue to engage in their Treaty relationships by reflecting on the longstanding commitments between the many different Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island and Canadians throughout history.
Be it our social committee leaving treats for Halloween, our LRS leaving samosas & chaat for Diwali, or the amazing Gr5 teacher @amanijjar entertaining ALL our kiddos at the end of the day - there was joy to be found everywhere @RedWillowPS Happy Halloween! 🎃🎃
Today we gave our Legacy in Threads quilt a space in our @RedWillowPS library. Our TL @mswallacepeelsb facilitated extraordinary work with our BSA last year, with the support of @PATCHES360inc Big TY to SOE @daws_patrika for visiting the unveiling & sharing her words of wisdom.
We are blessed to have a School Council team @RedWillowPS who have aligned with our MYSP & SIEP goals around community engagement. Today, ALL day, our families joined their children in a fall celebrations dance party! Bring the community in. Always. Thank you @NeetuAraich
