@arnaud_kr and I have been talking about organizing a single-molecule genomics meeting for years! We're excited to do so at @embl while bridging the fields of single-molecule genomics and microscopy with our co-organizers. Hope to see you there July 15-18 embl.org/about/info/cou…

Thrilled to announce a new conference focused on gene regulation mechanisms at molecular resolution. We bring together a fine crowd that uses microscopy, genomics and theory to chart the future of the booming fields of #singlemoleculegenomics and #singlemoleculemicroscopy.

📜Our GATA story is finally out in its peer-reviewed format! We even added a double deletion of GATA-responsive enhancers in zygotes to show a direct connection between GATA TFs and Xist. Congratulations to all authors! nature.com/articles/s4155…

We’re excited to share our new preprint, headed by Liat Ravid Lustig and @AbhiSampKumar, where we identify the GATA family as tissue-specific activators of Xist, which are required for initiation of X inactivation in early embryos. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…. See tweetorial below

Analyzing whole genome DNA methylation data? Our new method MethyLasso is out in NAR! It can help you identify regions with low or partial methylation (LMR, UMR, DMV, PMD, PMD) or differentially methylated regions (DMR) and was benchmarked against others doi.org/10.1093/nar/gk…

Our new study, initiated by an undergraduate in the lab, was set to examine the effect of mutating histone H3.3 K122 to alanine. To do so, we attempted to generate murine ES cells mutating all four alleles, but were surprised when we couldn't generate these lines!
