I fondly think that when my cat plops down on my arms, making it really hard to work, that she's thinking of my well-being, telling me "you've worked enough for today, go do something else", but she's probably just hungry 😂

Just learned that I received a grant for which my cat accidentally clicked 'submit' while I was out walking the dog Mochi now has a higher grant hit-rate than I do and will be submitting all of my applications until further notice Here she is looking unimpressed:
Day 2: Smol pocket friend is snuggling at work today again. She has a name: Lilac.
So I informed friends and fam via Facebook that whoever helped me find the perfect cat dress for my defense would be called out in the acknowledgements in my dissertation. I received several submissions & the "peer-review" of the 1st batch of semi-finalists is currently underway.
