As they used to say in my day, no shit Sherlock.
To those with short memories: Between 2014 and 2022, Ukraine held about 200 rounds of talks with Russia. During this period, 20 cease-fire agreements were reached, all of which were quickly violated by Russia. None of the 200 rounds of talks or the 20 ceasefires have prevented…
Putin has ordered the liberation of Kursk before the Jan inauguration of Trump. The Kremlin is pouring troops by the thousands there but they have stalled again. Losses are incredible because commanders know that if victory is achieved nobody will ask them about the cost. 1/8
I’m Muslim. If somebody tried to bring the Quran into my children’s public schools, I would fiercely oppose it. Not only out of respect for other people’s faiths (or lack thereof) but also because making religion a political instrument corrupts faith
The Bible is back in Oklahomas classrooms. We are getting our kids back on track.
Größtes Problem des real existierenden Liberalismus hierzulande: „Liberale“, die den Liberalismus nicht verstehen.
6-7 million people didn’t vote for Harris because of Gaza and Israel. Now they are complaining about Trump being worse on the issue. I have no fucking words..
#Scholz #Putin
The reason that negotiations with Russia are so unlikely to produce any results is that the fundamental interests of Putin and the West are at odds: Putin's core interest is that Ukraine be weak and unprotected. The West wants Ukraine to be secure. There is no middle ground here.
I hear Democrats say Trump voters will regret once Trump's tariffs devastate 🇺🇸economy & raise consumer prices. But take it from Brits, people don't acknowledge they erred in a vote even after economic consequences. They'll always find others to blame than themselves. 🇬🇧#Brexit
I had dismal expectations for Trump’s appointments, but some in the national security space were decent. Now we get Matt Gaetz for attorney general and Tulsi Gabbard for DNI — and they are nightmares. Not nightmares for liberals but for the rule of law and America’s reputation.
Very kind of Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to become government officials while remaining in their executive roles at companies that either do business with or have regulatory conflicts with the government.
Imagine if during the 2020 campaign, Mark Zuckerberg had come out & publicly endorsed Biden, used his social media platforms to push pro-Biden information and spread disinformation about Trump, then spent millions of his own money on pro-Biden PACS, and then campaigned his butt…
2016. 2020. 2024.
😲 Wow. 50% of Germans say raising the defence spending to 3-3,5% GDP is *just right*! 15% even think that’s not enough! Source: koerber-stiftung.de/en/projects/th…
Russia’s disinformation and clandestine operations in Africa is growing. If we don’t talk about it and do something about it, Europe will face a big problem with migration.
Putin on peace deal: "It shouldn't be a ceasefire for half a year, so that Ukraine can get munitions." - in other words: Putin will never agree to an independent Ukraine that could arm itself again. Keeping Ukraine vulnerable (thus controllable) is the precondition for any deal.
This is ridiculous. Biden was the most pro-labor president in 60 yrs. His stimulus plan was targeted to get people back to work. Working-class people saw their real wages grow faster than any other group. Dems did not abandon the working class. The working class abandoned them.
It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. And they’re right.
Jetzt brauchen wir in Deutschland Pistorius, der Zauderer muss gehen. #USWahlen2024
If you want to understand what's happening, forget about "the economy" and immigration and all that. This is happening all over the world, among people who think that others are *unjustly* living better than they are - even while they themselves are living well.
