The sad thing is that even if released right now, the trauma will be with her for the rest of her life. She will live in fear, very likely be agorophobic, and will struggle to be productive. We now know enough to see she didn't do it. They have ruined the life of a young woman

Given the growing doubts over the safety of her conviction, the condition of Lucy Letby in prison is a serious concern. If we are a civilised country we cannot wait perhaps 10 years for the case to be reopened.

The Thirwell inquiry has served only to show that a bunch of powerful men can still destroy a young woman’s life with impunity. The evidence against her doesn't exist. When pride prevented them from dumping their “gut feelings” and admitting the truth of their failings, they…

I would love to hear a coherent explanation for why the managers should be held responsible for not stopping Letby sooner, but the consultants shouldn't. Dr Ravi Jayaram claims to have walked in on Letby trying to murder a baby. He apparently told nobody about this for a year!

Do you think the senior managers should be held responsible for not stopping Letby sooner? If so, do you think the doctors should also be held responsible for not stopping Letby sooner? The doctors suspected Letby of murdering babies for far longer than managers were aware.

Alison Kelly is the latest witness to point out how "extraordinary" it is that Dr Ravi Jayaram only told management that he'd walked in on Letby trying to murder Baby K a year after it happened. Lucy Letby was convicted of Baby K's attempted murder on the back of Jayaram's…

Consultant neonatologist Dr Oliver Rackham is set to give evidence at the Thirlwall Inquiry today. Dr Rackham headed the transport team at Arrowe Park Hospital, and was present when Baby P died in June 2016. In a text, Dr A told Letby that Rackham had praised the work she did…

The only person scheduled to give evidence this week who isn't a senior manager is Dr Oliver Rackham. Read the description given by the triplets' mother of Dr Rackham's seeming competence and professionalism, in comparison to the panicked staff at the Countess. Source of the…

Lucy Letby's ward manager: “There is no evidence whatsoever against LL (Lucy Letby) other than coincidence,” Lucy is the victim of a horrendous miscarriage of justice. She should be released immediately and replaced in prison by the people who framed her. telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/11/2…

But the report didn’t “ clear” all the consultants, it did the opposite. It did clear Lucy Letby though.

"Ms Kelly said: 'There was never any clarity again. Nobody had seen her do anything. There were terms used like 'gut feeling'…which did not pinpoint any particular issues with Letby.'" independent.co.uk/news/uk/lucy-l…

If it wasn't obvious that the consultants' definition of bullying is simply "not being allowed to have our way" it should be now. Execs wanted them to produce evidence of actual wrongdoing before permanently destroying someone's career, and they feel like "battered wives"?

A new mini-film from me. I wasn't at the trial for 10 months, so its true I didn't hear everything the jury did. But there again, there are 14 major things that we now know that the jury didn't. youtu.be/Wqe4dEuK128

@JudithMoritz in Forensic Science, each item of evidence must be considered from both points of view - innocence, guilt. Lucy’s demeanour in court makes a great deal of sense under innocence. None at all under guilt. So it’s strong evidence for innocence.
