A typical morning on Leigham Vale outside @Hitherfield15 As small children try to walk/scoot/cycle to school, drivers park on the pavement, on double yellows & on the school ‘no parking’ lines. The LTN suspension is largely at fault but parents need to stop parking dangerously.
londonfestivalofarchitecture.org/transforming-f… yes I mean, Leigham Vale, just seen this proposal for Falcon Bridge in Wandsworth which is a lot larger but the same principles apply to this location. Clapham Junction is different so doesn't need to be quite so stand out, widening the pavement is vital.
Another day another crash. @RezinaChowdhury it is simply unsafe and it's only a matter of time until another person is killed on these streets. Bring back the LTN.
Another cyclist hit by a car driver at this insane roundabout at Valley / Gleneldon Road yesterday 😡😭 It's now 8 months since these safe streets were sacrificed for 'imminent' work on the High Road which hasn't started. Action needed now. @RezinaChowdhury @SteveReedMP

Quite the contrast to Leigham vale currently where it’s constant traffic, horns, full blown road rage and mopeds on the pavement ( in front of school children might I add). Been royally f*#*ed by @lambeth_council
