Is progressive resistance training superior to neuromuscular exercise for hip osteoarthritis? We thought so when initiating this trial from which results have just been published in @AnnalsofIM It turned out that the effects are very similar. annals.org/aim/article/do…

Neuromuscular exercise with and without strength training seems to reduce intermuscular fat by 21-25% and increase quadriceps muscle cross-sectional area and muscle strength in people with knee osteoarthritis. Great work led by @PM_Holm
