The Democrats’ most loyal voters, as ever, were Black voters and Jewish voters both of whom are under no illusions about the GOP and both of whom know the historic threat of racism and fascism. Other minority communities would do well to learn from them.
Something needs to be said about how Biden ran on some really popular things but refused to FIGHT for them. Once the voters saw he wasn’t going to really try to increase the minimum wage, push for voting rights, or pass universal health care, the left lost credibility.
Trump got yall voting against the “wide spread occurrences of trans athletes in women’s sports”. Less than 2% of the US population is transgender and only 34 have competed in any college sport since 2003. Only 1 has competed in the Olympics and LOST. Facts matter.
Trump was convicted of sexually assaulting a woman and is responsible for women losing their reproductive rights nationwide and white women said “yeah, and?”
And Latino males valued Trump’s non-coherent “concepts of a plan” to help the economy more than their daughter’s rights or their own dignity and pride.
Not all the white folks that voted for Trump are racist, but they definitely don’t mind his racism because it’s not against them. They’re like “he isn’t talking about me so fuck it”.
I don’t care how the country voted; I’m standing on the side of decency, morality, inclusion and freedom.
