As the fight against GBV continues with violence against women & girls yet to be eradicated, it’s important for everyone to know how to support someone if they choose to confide in you about an experience of gender or sexual violence.@ajws @GirlsWomenPower @esther_aoko

Her story📢 🚫She is closed in the dark room with heavy locks. 🚫She keeps screaming but no response. 🚫Her body is filled with scars that she can't heal. 🚫When breaks through for rescue, everyone runs. 🚫The perpetrator is left to move freely without justice. #16DaysOfActivism

If adolescent pregnancy prevention is to become a priority, then our strategy, as advocates, must contain two key elements: civic engagement and education.

Everyone needs to feel safe in a community. Lets empower, report and offer support to women who are survivors of #GBV. Women's safety translates to the safety in our communities. As we gear on to #16DaysOfActivism, lets remind our women that they are and can be safe.

Rights and choices are the foundation of sexual and reproductive health and rights. At the opening of #ICFP2022, I shared @UNFPA’s vision of a world where everyone can make informed choices, claim their right to bodily autonomy, and forge their own future. #GlobalGoals

The advice I have for for PLHIV who are stigmatized is they should also report anyone who stigmatize them @Uganetlaw and they should always attend psychosocial sessions to listen to they fellows who are empowered. #MoreThanHIV #SpreadLoveNotHate #LetsEndHIVStigma

According to the National PLHIV stigma index report the external stigma had greatly reduced from 4.5-1.3 Percent compared to the internal stigma that was at 50-24 percent. What advice do you have for those who are stigmatized? #MoreThanHIV #SpreadLoveNotHate #LetsEndHIVStigma
