no bullshit, Hiroyuki Sanada as Shimazu in JW 4 is the perfect example of this. Dude gave his life for his daughter and morally challenged Caine to think past his allegiance to the high table which came into play later in his duel with John.

Coming from just a fighting perspective, not fight choreography, this scene shows how smaller, quicker fighters would have to deal with someone who's skilled and big. Even though it's sci-fi fantasy, they understand how fights work. Excellent job folks. Keep bringing that to SW.

Oh look, a person who's in the film/tv industry who's saying the same thing I said about fight choreography. It's almost like people who have a lot of fight knowledge and teaching experience know what to do to make a fight scene feel like a fight, not be an actual fight.
I realllly fucking hate this when “experts” come in and try to dissect fight scenes like they’re supposed to be realistic. Hey numb nuts, this is entertainment! If the actors really aimed for each other we’d have a pretty short fucking fight scene and an injured actor. Jackass.
