Clearly safeguards are needed, to avoid excessive reporting (as the post indicates). But if the right balance can be struck then, standing what has been exposed in the Child Abuse Inquiries north and south of the border, it is difficult to argue against this Bill.

Amazing, Journalists have queued since 6am to get access to the court to cover the sentencing of Huw Edwards. Yet last week at the sentencing of the Rotherham gang of 7 muslim child rapists, for vile crimes against a 12-year-old girl, just one journalist was in court. Shameful.
