I couldn’t be prouder of what we have achieved in the last 90 days, it’s been exhilarating to say the least, this week we might (wishful thinking) have a chance to have a slight breather before it all starts again!
Another quality project delivered by the team. Getting this done in 12 weeks was tough going but the team rallied around and pulled out the stops as they always do
Our Pre-Operative Assessment Clinic has a new home! Over the past 12 weeks our colleagues have worked incredibly hard to move the clinic from our Brunel building to one of our retained estate buildings. A huge thank you to all involved! Read more: nbt.nhs.uk/about-us/news-…

The project design phase started in September 2020, with enabling works commencing on site in March 2021. Today the Modular Theatres have officially been opened by @MariaKaneNHS ready for first use next week. Amazing achievement by all involved @NorthBristolNHS

We have delivered over 40 projects across the retained estate in 2020/2021 financial year totalling £7m, all of mixed complexity but I am hugely proud of the team as we lost 3 months project delivery time due to Covid #dreamteam #capitalprojects

I’m getting increasingly frustrated by the whole ‘protect the NHS’ rhetoric. We’re not locking down to protect ‘the NHS’, we’re locking down to protect the next person who needs urgent and life-saving medical and nursing care - let’s be honest this could be any one of us.

Worked the late A&E SHO shift on NYE and came out to this. Hundreds of maskless, drunk people in huge groups shouting "Covid is a hoax", literally outside the building where hundreds are sick and dying. Why do people still not realise the seriousness of this pandemic?
