Today, six JR companies will reveal the details of the timetable revision that takes place in March 2025. I think it won't be as dramatic as that a year before, but see what will happen within three months.
Three years ago today…Tokyo Metro 7000 series running towards Yokohama on Tokyu Toyoko line. It was the last rolling stock for Tokyo underground developed in the 1970s. Despite a dramatic refurbishment, it looked quite old-fashioned.

Six years ago today…High Speed Train at King's Cross, which sounds as usual but actually it wasn't. The full set of the HST operated by East Midlands Trains, which was supposed to be seen at an adjacent St Pancras station, was hired by London North Eastern Railway.
