1.2 million acre-feet of water has been authorized for groundwater recharge across California in the last 5 months. We must replenish our groundwater resources through recharge and leverage the benefits of our recent wet weather.

To capture stormwater the State Water Board has issued 10 temporary groundwater recharge permits authorizing diversion of stormwater for groundwater recharge. More than 1.2 million acre ft. of recharge authorized in 5 months! More info: rb.gy/q2cs7
