Raised wage costs through higher NIC's, strengthened unions and given them new rights, raised capital gains tax and tightened non-dom rules None of these changes create the "right conditions" for startups and entrepreneurship

This is great. Creating the right conditions for mega successful startups is vital for our security as well as our economy.

You and your fellow Reform MP's had an opportunity to help "protect and promote" fishing at today's debate on fishing but none of you seemed concerned or bothered enough to turn up Reform yet again showing they are not serious

Fury as foreign fisherman break rules in UK waters hundred of times per year Only ⁦@reformparty_uk⁩ will protect and promote British fishing express.co.uk/news/politics/…

More economic data emerging to show the negative impacts which Labour's budget is having If people dont have confidence in the state of the UK economy they will not go out and spend. In turn this will act as a drag and hold back the much needed economic growth

Consumer confidence in the health of the economy dipped in November, a new survey shows, as the Budget failed to allay households’ economic fears. bit.ly/4i2oapX

Up to 100,000 more pensioners could be pushed into poverty due to Labour removing WFP according to modelling from the DWP No wonder Labour chose to release it on a day when the media would be focused on the farmers protesting the unjust IHT changes

DWP has just published its impact assessment of means-testing Winter Fuel Payments - and it's pretty striking. An extra 100,000 more pensioners in relative poverty by 2027, after housing costs. 👇

The budget makes it harder for young couples to afford starting a family and is bad for the economy as high child care costs can force parents to reduce hours worked Conservative's must commit to lowering costs through changing regulation's to allow more kids per adult carer

The UK already has the most expensive childcare in the world. Labour’s NICs tax will see a 20% increase. Without serious reform, starting a family will be out of reach for ordinary couples. inews.co.uk/news/parents-n…

*sighs*…. In the Lakes you can have a farm worth millions on paper, and earn less than the minimum wage. If you have to sell it to pay IHT, the farm will go into the hands of massive corporate types. This reduces food production, harms the environment and is simply unjust.

Poor bloke - Farm worth 12 million quid and so will pay £600,000 inheritance tax but can do it over ten years - imagine how we'd all struggle inheriting on 11.4 million quid . Should do a Go Fund Me page . I don't know how I'll sleep worrying about them paying a share ( fair…

Labour in government has consistently talked down the economy and talked up the 'measures' it would have to take Unsurprisingly this has killed off business and consumer confidence resulting in a slower growing economy this = less jobs, lower wages and less tax receipts

The UK grew at a slower pace than expected in the third quarter, according to the latest figures, after the economy contracted in September. Read more here 👇 cityam.com/gdp-growth-slo…

Companies are cancelling planned investment in the UK because of Labours budget This means less economic growth + job creation making the country worse off and less tax receipts for the government It won't be long until Labour are raising taxes again ft.com/content/919a6e…

Labour is pretending only affluent land owners will be affected Beyond the farms affected, trades associated with the farming industry will also be impacted and are already experiencing negative consequences Rural economies and jobs will be impacted thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

In his opinion column this week, Matthew Hicks, the leader of Suffolk County Council reflected on the budget. eadt.co.uk/news/24698431.… 👇 Full story

David is right about the unfair tax on farms and glad the Lib Dems will oppose it But calling for more tax on banks/ oil & gas companies when they already pay higher rates of tax on their profits than other companies is wrong and shows how far to the left the Lib Dems are

Instead of going after the large banks, oil & gas & big tech, Labour have chosen to pick on family farms Labour is out of touch with rural communities & is at risk of creating a lost generation of farmers The Liberal Democrats will campaign fiercely against the family farm tax

Labour ending the increase in the stamp duty threshold brought in by the Conservatives is a kick in the teeth for first time buyers and bad for the economy Young people will need to stump up an extra few thousand to get on the housing ladder thisismoney.co.uk/money/mortgage…

The change to APR will raise only £520million (approx 0.06% of govt's tax revenue) but will affect the majority of farms in the UK reducing our food security + pushing up prices The average farm is about 210acres and 3x bigger than the 60-70acre's which = the £1million limit

An awful tax grab on hard working farmers and shows how little Labour understands/cares about farming or the rural community Forcing the splitting up of farms will not encourage farmers to carry on or people to invest and take up farming causing higher food prices

🚨 Agricultural property relief is set to be 'severely curtailed' after the government announced reform of the tax relief in today's autumn budget farminguk.com/news/agricultu…

Labour's budget will hit lowest earners and young the hardest through lower wage growth + higher prices whilst discourages entrepreneurship -Lower disposable income -Buying your first property will be harder -Starting a family will be harder Not pro worker or pro growth

OBR says that it expects companies to pass on ‘most but not all of their higher tax costs to employees’ - despite Labour’s claim it won’t hit their pay packets It says that 60% of higher costs will be passed on to workers and consumers via lower wages and higher prices

Imagine being so self-indulgent you make the murder of children (and subsequent charging of the murderer) about yourself - "I was right all along" 🤮 He may be an MP, but he's no statesman, still the man ranting to himself from the corner of the pub, trying to stir up hatred.

The Southport attacker has now been charged with Terrorism offences. Perhaps I was right all along.
