Wildest part about adulthood is how motivational everyone gets. You can’t even say you hate yourself anymore without somebody being like, “You’re in control of your life.” Like bro what happened to hopelessness, what happened to teen angst?
Spent $30 on a chuck roast just for my crockpot to turn off randomly while it was cooking. 7 hours and it’s still pink inside and it’s been sitting at room temp for who knows. Always thought my failure was due to lack of discipline but it turns out it’s just general incompetence
