It's all about the frequency now. In my circle, I know of at least 2 guys who left despite never having any plans of leaving before. Another difference is that people are planning to shift their whole families as well. Not just wives and kids. In short, cutting ties completely.

When you keep making decisions that are not a part of your policy and process and the decision making process is obscure, not visible/transparent to your teams - that is when you give room for toxic work culture to spread. Lack of trust, miscommunication, gossip spread

Why do people not respond to emails. I mean just say you dont have time. you will get back to me later. give a time line even if its two years later. But at least acknowledge an email.

Our grandmothers had no money, no assets, no education, and nowhere to run. They couldn't open bank accounts or rent housing. They were broken on the wheel of continuous pregnancy, birthing, nursing, mothering. If they tried to leave, families and communities forced them back.
