Will this be a “cover up” piece for history like the THIS IS IT movie? Protecting the guilty. We will see. I am hoping for an honest movie.
MJ explained to me the reason he was so angry with Branca was because Branca was working more on behalf for Sony than for him. MJ told me Branca was forging and re-writing contracts that tied MJ to Sony, when he wanted to leave and end his relationship with Sony.
We all witnessed Michael’s distain for Sony. Michael was so thrilled when he believed his contract was over with Sony.
Michael demanded all his documents from Branca when MJ fired him. Yet Branca came up with MJs will and trust after MJ was dead. Branca wrote the old will and made himself executor of it. Sony finally has Michael’s catalogs thanks to Branca.
I think the biopic will have to end at (or before) Michael meeting Jordy Chandler in Beverly Hills in 1992. Let’s see the movie and see.
Randy Phillips and AEG brought Branca in. They were also threatening to “pull the plug” and take everything from MJ, even his children, if Michael did not perform. I saw Branca show up at a rehearsal. Before I knew it Michael was dead and Branca was on vacation.
We know from witness accounts from that week, that he was incoherent, and disoriented at the time John showed up (June 16-19). What if that missing page ("from 2002") was placed in front of him to sign then? That might explain the "Los Angeles" discrepancy.
