I am pleased to say my in-laws are safe and back home ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ We are, of course, elated, but my father-in-law said, "My heart is broken in two, and with my mum, son & grandchildren in Gaza." He then broke down telling me how hard it was saying goodbye to them.
We could get angry at Suella’s latest piece of performative, pandering cruelty or… instead: let’s promote the excellent work done by @Shelter, @centrepointuk, @PassageCharity and other fine charities actually trying to help homeless people, especially now, as winter approaches.

Money and mental health go hand in hand... Compounded for many by the #CostOfLiving crisis. We've partnered with other orgs to help update @mentalhealthuk 's 'Final Demand' guide for health and social care professionals on providing practical support: bit.ly/3nAwgyN
Professor Dame Elizabeth Anionwu was the first sickle cell nurse specialist in the UK and devoted her career to working with black and minority ethnic communities. Today she carried the gold Sovereign Orb in the Coronation Ceremony at Westminster Abbey. 💙
🚨New World Record🚨 Of everyone I've had the honour to interview, @AdeleRoberts at the finish line of the @LondonMarathon is at the top. Even after 26.2 miles & world record for fastest woman with an ileostomy she's still thanking others. Here's our (slightly emotional) chat.
Six months today I lost my wife. A friend bought me this book and I read it with Freddie at bedtime for the first time. I sobbed all the way through it. But it’s beautiful and I can’t recommend it highly enough for any family suffering with grief.
