This is my first time eligible to vote in the U.S. presidential election, but I have chosen not to support any candidate.

I am at @ACMSigmetrics presenting @hfzhang_6 work studying bloat in ML systems. The paper looks at how much "bloat", i.e., unused code and dependencies exist in ML containers. 1/

Under the impression of running out of data to train LLMs, GPT-4o seems to be a mechanism for collecting data for training LLMs.

Me and @fgo_neto 's student Ranim Khojah has conducted an observational study how software developers in Sweden use ChatGPT in their work. Findings to be published in @FSEconf, in collaboration with Mazen Mohamad (@RISEsweden): arxiv.org/abs/2404.14901

A big milestone for @langroid_ai . We crossed 1k stars. As you know the project lead is the amazing @pchalasani , and we have some amazing contributors. Several companies have started using Langroid and are very impressed with the elegance and structure of the framework. We…

RAG over Knowledge graphs is interesting. I leverage this concept to build Python dependency chatbot. A recording shows how to use the app: shorturl.at/nN578 Colab Notebook: shorturl.at/oAO07 Or run it as a script: shorturl.at/CDKR7

Delighted to be invited to serve on CCS'24. Excited to assist authors to improve their submissions.

I always enjoy doing cross-verification for results reported in published papers. I came across ICSE'23 and ASE'23. Both report the number of configs in the studied programs. In one case, number of config is 3x more than 2nd paper. This makes me question the methodology, agreed?

Novel and good paper presentation but rejected. Also, if a reviewer says missing results, then this should be confirmed at least by another reviewer. Otherwise, do your due diligence properly (how come a paper is missing results in 3 tables) where is the PC.

Great post by @pchalasani on integrating local LLMs (e.g. Llama) in agent-centric frameworks such as Langroid. Worth a read!

New on the Langroid blog ! Why Local LLMs are exciting, and how to use them with Langroid. open.substack.com/pub/langroid/p… #LLM #AI
