We had hoped to bring you some good news, but we have no definite time scale for reopening. Although there are fewer restrictions in place, we don’t feel we can currently operate the cinema as a safe public space. We are monitoring the situation as we fully intend to reopen.

1/2 This film from 1915 is incredibly poignant. It shows enlistees departing #Preston station as they head to the horror of #WW1 as loved ones wave goodbye. But one joker still finds time to put on a false nose! Film preserved by #BFINationalArchive #armisticeday #RemembranceDay
