The cost of housing has skyrocketed. Even renting is becoming unaffordable for many. I wonder how many families will soon have 3 generations under one roof.

At Steubenville South and saw @KatiePMcGrady on the screen from a past year as they counted down for the start. Only took me until my youngest hit high school to make one.
When you get part way through your salad from @SUBWAY and realize they never added the guac. Plus they charged for a power bowl instead of a salad. A reminder to always double check everything before driving off. And to pack more gluten free food when I travel.

Thankful I never adopted this approach when teaching my boys. Closest would be marking off a chore chart, but that was check marks. They did request I use colored pens for grading.
Gold Stars as a reward for work has no true value. It really says the child belongs to a system where a cognitive dissonance must be created where a thing of no intrinsic value has importance or significance. Deep down, the child knows it’s just a piece of adhesive foil.
