Oggi ho mangiato una bistecca di pollo, uguale in tutto e per tutto a una bistecca vegetale. Gusto, fragranza, consistenza. Se non me l'avessero detto l'avrei potuta tranquillamente scambiare per una bistecca di soia.

Absolutely tragic news. Nobody should have to face any violence at work — and certainly not something as shocking as this. My thoughts are with the victim’s family, friends and colleagues at this terrible time. news.sky.com/story/railway-…

This beautiful farmland in Bedfordshire is at risk of being plastered with 1,900 acres of solar panels. The site is larger than 1,000 football pitches. This shouldn’t be allowed. Put solar panels on car parks, roofs or brownfield sites instead.
This is incredibly sad news. London’s iconic Smithfield Market is set to close after almost 800 years. Yet another hammer blow on our independent food supply and trading networks. thetimes.com/article/989b12…
And this: the soil carbon lost from 12,000 years of agriculture only adds up to about 13 years of recent fossil fuel use in terms of emissions. plantingseedsblog.cdfa.ca.gov/wordpress/?p=1…
Here are the carbon emissions from soil and fossil fuels. Restoring the soil to pre-agricultural levels will never get us back to pre-industrial levels in the air. Also, it's impossible to restore soils fully unless we stop growing crops. pnas.org/doi/full/10.10…
"absorb 100% of the carbon..." 🙄 "get us down to preindustrial levels" 🙄 He is way off here...ridiculous claims.
Saw Nick Cave in Paris recently at the Accor Arena and I was really struck by that song Joy where he sings “We’ve all had too much sorrow, now it the time for joy.” I was thinking to myself, yeah that’s about right.
utter nonsense Steve. - no farmer will buy land now, you have made British agriculture completely un investable When I sell my family farm to pay this tax it will be bought by the very people ( probably based offshore !) you claim to want to stop Your lack of understanding…
Half of farmland sold last year went to non-farmers including wealthy individuals trying to avoid inheritance tax. It's right that tax changes will ensure everyone pays their fair share - and young farmers can realise their dream of buying their own farm. theguardian.com/environment/20…
Wintertarwe en de groenbemesters staan er mooi op. Aan de basis ligt het niet voor oogst 25. 👌
Great work. Interested to see the results 😎
Spent a short week visiting #soilhealth farmers in 🇩🇰 Finally I got to go on some of @FredVLarsen inspiring fields! Great to get to see the living mulch in real life & guess I'll have to look up our options for growing w.oats🤩 Thank you for sharing your experiences with us!
Denmark was educational 🇩🇰 Gained valuable insights and loads of inspiration. It was also a big moment to meet Annette Vestergaard, who I consider a celebrity.. I have to admit, got a bit starstruck! Looking forward to putting everything I’ve learned into practice. #RegenAg
