LTFD Volunteers responded to a mutual-aid alarm in the Pheasant Ridge Mobile Home Park in Manor Township at 5:05 pm last evening. Engine 66-1 responded immediately and reported fire showing from sides A and B. The Red Cross was summoned to assist the occupant of the mobile home.
A blue 2010 Honda CR-V collided with a tan 2014 Toyota Venza at 9:42 am. in the 1700 block of Wabank Road in Lanc. Twp. Firefighters removed the windshield and cut/folded down the roof to access the driver of the Honda who was trapped in the vehicle for approximately 20 minutes.
Youths set alight a trash receptacle in the vestibule at 645 Wyncroft Lane. Smoke filled the area and tripped the fire alarm. The trash receptacle was located adjacent to the mailboxes of the apartment residents and was used to discard junk mail after they cleared their mailbox.
Power is out in the Gable Park Woods area of Lancaster Twp. due to a transformer malfunction on a utility pole north of Gable Park Road at the quarry entrance. PPL is estimating the power will be restored at 4 pm.

The driver of a 2002 yellow Chevrolet Tracker crashed into the Turkey Hill Minit Market at 936 Columbia Ave. this morning at 6:52 am. The driver mistakenly pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake and crashed into the window of the store and a trash can in front of the widow.
Happy Ending for 6 Tubers Following Conestoga River Water Rescue. A group of 6 tubers floated away from Outdoor World in Pequea Twp and into Lancaster Twp. 4 adults and 2 children were unaware of their location and how to get back to the camp. All recovered 1.5 miles downstream.
NY man is charged with arson after an apartment fire on Sunday, April 25, in the 600 blk Wyncroft Lane in Lanc. Twp. Husani Laviscount, entered one of the apartments, and intentionally set it on fire, which spread to 5 other occupied structures. K9 from ATF Reading was on scene.

Volunteers dispatched at 12:36 pm for a motorcycle accident. A 2014 Harley XL 1200c collided with a 2004 Ford Escape. After collision, the cycle skid down Wabank Road and slid under a camper being towed by a 2011 Jeep Wrangler that was entering the roadway from a driveway.
Firefighters responded to a house fire on Pickford Drive last evening at 10:30. 3 Adults, 1 child, 3 dogs and 2 cats were displaced. The resident and one firefighter was injured. A malfunctioning microwave oven caused the blaze.
SUV lost control near the quarry at 1780 Wabank Rd in Lanc. Twp. Skid marks show the vehicle swerved up the hill, jumping the curb near Gable Park Rd onto Quarry property near the storage sheds. The vehicle hit a tree, bounced off and flipped onto its side. Driver was uninjured.
