Because Tennessee's federal appeals court knows better than the AMA, the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry? This is terrifying. cnn.com/2023/07/08/pol… #StandWithTrans

In just the last week, about as many acres have burned in Canada as burned in California all year in its off-the-charts record-breaking fire season of 2020. The total area burned is now 6 million hectares, about 15 million acres or 23,000 square miles. ciffc.net

I love chatting about fashion with @wendynystrom + Joel of @Env_Soc_Justice - they are open, inquisitive, and genuinely curious about our work with Other Lives Studio. We discussed the #fashionact, overconsumption, fast fashion, and more. Watch here: youtube.com/live/DL7L2j_Ks…

It is getting even more impossible to ignore the climate crisis. The fact that people in power still somehow live in denial, and actively move in the wrong direction, will eventually be seen for and understood as the unprecedented betrayal it is. It is just a matter of time.

Every brand should be doing this. Also: I'm interested in the cost ($ and CO2e) of sorting and breaking down the scraps to produce "new" fabric. @SourcingJournal tinyurl.com/4zyyd6mf

Fashion is one of the least regulated industries globally. It is a major polluter and a leading industry of modern day slavery. We need to stop the race to the bottom and #ActOnFashion. @nily will you support and vote yes on the Fashion Act?

I wrote about fast fashion for @nytimes from the viewpoint of processing clothing returns. I hope you'll read it. What an amazing NYT Opinion team to work with: from the editors to the fact checkers...thank you. #Fastfashion nytimes.com/2022/11/25/opi…

Thank you @FastCompany for a great panel on the future of plastics. Ultimately, I think we need to phase out most new plastic development and replace it with PCW and bio-based options. Appreciated the inclusion of community-based organizations like the Resilient Cities Network

If Abbott and DeSantis actually cared about helping relieve the burden created by asylum seekers, they could just as easily and far more cost-effectively funnell the millions they are spending on their cynical stunt and give it to the non profits already doing the job.
