Today, October 12, STF members are wearing their I Am STF stickers as we enter our last scheduled days of collective bargaining. Teachers: snap a photo and tag us, using the #IAMSTF hashtag to show your solidarity.
The government has refused to bargain on matters pertaining to classroom violence, claiming it's not a serious issue. Meanwhile, over 1/3 of our members have experienced violence in the workplace. We think it's about time for the government to consider this a "serious issue."
