When I worked for @CoachMarkPhelps he made sure all our our opinions as assistants were brought to the table and hear. A true leader!!!

Many assistant coaches feel left out of decision-making. Claim your voice — share your professional opinions and add value to your head coach and team. Writing your thoughts sharpens your clarity and decision-making. Your input benefits everyone, including you!

No doubt!!! Got to know what you’re looking for first. Not many know that lol

YouTube teaches it all if you go searching for the right stuff lol, some of the zone stuff I stole from watching other coaches while I was reffing or watching a game lol

Lot of coaches don’t understand having off set fronts on zone o. YouTube don’t teach that

Coaches please get your ZONE O right, seeing too many teams go ZONE and offenses freezing up!

Whole lot of coaches and trainers can’t teach the why cause YouTube and IG don’t explain it

Coaches If you don’t know the “why” of what you’re teaching, the “how” really is a moot point for the players to understand. If you can’t teach the “details” your “demands” are really short sighted. If you can’t get them to “feel” your investment in them, the”talk” is cheap.

The sad part about knowing what it takes, is some don’t believe and trust you, then later you gotta sit back and watch the kid fail. All because their parents and handlers. Shit is sad man. Good kids out here suffering because the nerve of some of you adults. Smh

One of, if not the best player development minds. My time working for him was invaluable.

We are building our mentorship program, you do not want to miss out! 1 on 1's, group sessions, visit brandonpayne.com for more info. #BrainTrainer

COACHES: If you want players to "trust the process", then make sure that you have a good process and, most importantly, you are somebody worth trusting.

The title of “Director of Player Development” is the most bs job title in college basketball. @bucketsworth

Our kids are being cheated and shortchanged because of the shortage of good coaching. I mean being coached by real coaches.

A lot of basketball people wanna blame trainers. We have a kid about %5 of what a high school coaches have them.

Player Development is important

UConn Head Coach Dan Hurley: “We don't have all these banners on the wall because of players that came in as the No. 1 player in the country and then left as the No. 1 pick, and you basically babysat them for six months. We've been able to do it with players who, coming in, were…

People love to shout out “I just want to get better.” Man stop! You only want to get better on your terms. Development doesn’t always look cool. Your ego will stunt your development. Looking cool & clout chasing isn’t a part of development. Uncomfortable moments are part of it.
