🔹Today, the students, administrative and academic staff of the Caucasus University had the opportunity to personally meet the European Union ambassador - Mr. Paweł Herczyński. The visit was devoted to the discussion of very important and interesting issues.

🔹We signed a cooperation agreement between Caucasus University and Sciences Po Toulouse, France. On behalf of SciencePo Toulouse, our delegation was hosted and the partnership agreement was signed by the Director, Eric Darras.

🔹The International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) held a meeting at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Within the framework of the meeting, I also held a meeting of the management board, where we discussed current activities of the organization and etc.

🔹Together with the representatives of the CU, I participated in the annual exhibition-conference of the NAFSA, which was held in New Orleans, USA. I participated in sessions and discussions on innovative methods and challenges in higher education management.

🔹The 32nd NISPAcee Annual Conference “Public Administration in Post-Conflict Reconstruction” – at CU. As part of the event, approximately 200 rectors, deans, professors, researchers, doctoral students, and practitioners from the NISPAcee region have gathered in Georgia.

Meeting with the rector of the UN University, Dr. Tshilidzi Marwvala, who is an honorary doctor of the CU. We discussed current projects and also talked about joint future plans. It should be noted that the UN University wants to enter the Georgian educational space 🇺🇳🇬🇪❤️

🔹In Great Britain, the 2024 semi-annual meeting of the "International Association of University Presidents" was held at Nottingham Trent University, attended by higher education leaders from Europe, Asia, Africa and America

I am delighted to share with you a very important news✊ For the second time, according to order by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, I have been appointed as the Chairman of the Authorization Council of higher education institutions. Thank you for the trust 💙

🇬🇪🇪🇺 Congratulations! The European Council has granted Georgia the candidate status "Even if the present is not favorable, the future is ours." (I. Chavchavadze) At this moment, we are a joyous nation, as this future is already in our hands, and we have not betrayed Ilia’s path

🔹We hosted the Ambassador of Armenia, Ashot Smbatyan at Caucasus University. Within the framework of the visit, a working meeting was held, where the parties discussed the projects and innovations implemented at the university in the direction of international cooperation.

The third edition of the IAUP Seminar on Leadership Development for New Presidents and Emerging Leaders Over 20 seminar participants, joined by over 20 speakers from different countries, took part in the program. I was the speaker and mentor of the program.

U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Robin Dunnigan opened the 14th Annual International Research Conference on American Studies. Conference was organized by the School of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Georgia.

🇩🇪 A visit to the University of Applied Sciences Dresden in Germany with the delegation of the International Black Sea University. We discussed ways of boosting cooperation, issues about the development of the double and joint diploma programs, and university space.

Regional meeting and conference of the International Association of University Presidents in Cairo I would like to thank Inan Galal, Chairman of the Advisory Board of IAUP, for his hospitality. The topic discussed by me was: UNESCO 2030 Roadmap: What progress have we made?

🇮🇷 We hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia Mahmoud Adib and Cultural Attaché, Ahmad Ali Mehri Ardestani. The meeting was important in terms of strengthening and deepening the future cooperation between the countries.

🔹Excellent charity gala evening of non-governmental organization "American Friends of Georgia". Caucasus University purchased Marc Shagall, Levan Bujiashvili, and Georgi Alexi-Meskhishvili’s paintings and works. AFG gala is held under the patronage of the American ambassador.
