If you’re depending on a person to make you feel good about who you are, it’s not only going to frustrate you, but it’s a lot of pressure on them. That’s a burden they can’t carry. You’re trying to get from them what only God can give.
You have enough people on the outside trying to push you down, limit your potential, lessen your value. You don’t need one on the inside. Nobody should be more for you than you. That’s being responsible with the gift God has given you.

Be confident in who God made you to be. Others may be more talented. Celebrate them. You’re not competing with them. You don’t have to prove to them that you’re talented too. You have gifts that they don’t have.
