Respect is a basic need. If they can’t give it to you, get rid of them.

I’ve always known I have the best parents, but I really lucked out with the best in-laws too🫶

Stigma is what happens when mental health illiterate attitudes and beliefs cause people to fear, reject, avoid, and discriminate against people who experience mental illness, as well as the evidence-based psychological and psychiatric treatments that can help them.

I refuse to be an ingredient household. We have allll the snacks. Sweet, salty, organic, non organic, good for ya, and bad for ya—we have it all. And I will offer snacks every single time someone comes over😅 Even my husband’s subcontractors get sent snacks

I promise you, no friendship, relationship, or job is ever worth damaging your mental health over. Period.

I really can’t wait until I land my dream job after grad school and tell myself all the days of locking myself in the office to do homework were worth it

One day you’re partying it up on the weekends and before you know it’s Friday night, you’re at Costco and you’re glad they have 100% real fruit smoothies for a little treat

Christmas shopping makes me feel icky & materialistic. If we could just go to church, have a nice meal and just be together, I would be so grateful. The stress of who all extended family gets presents they don’t even want & make sure you don’t leave anyone out feels excessive.
