Ignore the lines the world draws and love the least of these—the little ones, the vulnerable, the abused, the traumatized, the trafficked, and the discarded. That is how you speak truth to power. That is how you disciple and bless the nations, one by one among the least of these.
Second, we must recognize that the change of massive systems always comes one person at a time. It is God’s way. Change looks impossible, frankly hopeless. But God calls His people, multiplies them, & brings transformation. The multiplying of that work is God’s work, not ours.
We must keep two things in mind when facing the overwhelming force and power of this world’s systems. First, we must be so soaked in and shaped by the Word of our God that we are able to see the truth and call it by its right name.
Oppression is literally a crushing of the image of God in humans. To say or do nothing when power is abused is to contribute to the defacing of God’s image in others. In other words, it is to join with the enemy of God who sought to destroy that same image.

I’m from #Belarus. While it can be frustrating and stressful, I actually envy people in the US, because they live in a country where election results are uncertain, and there’s real political competition. In my country, that kind of process hasn’t existed for decades.
The differences could not be more stark. The stakes are deeply significant for the future of this nation. I'm praying for empathy, justice, decency, neighborliness, honesty, peace, unity, and kindness to prevail tonight. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
If a political candidate wants to declare victory before the polls close remember they are doing that to damage the country not to serve it.
Let's please remember that the Republican presidential nominee is set to be SENTENCED for 34 felonies on November 26. That he is a major party nominee is not normal. The rule of law matters. Vote accordingly.
