Sadly, Pete Wilk passed away last evening after an extremely brave 15-month battle with brain cancer. He was a good man who loved his family above everything else. He was an intense guy. Stood up for his players. He was always kind to me. I'll miss him. #DigInforPete

The @Mets are 33-18 since I posted this, including playoffs through yesterday. Totally improbable run continues. Not playing with house money anymore, though.
