Today, 4A decided to do a random act of kindness. We posted positive post-it notes on all the mirrors in the bathrooms. We encouraged other students to add positive messages if they felt inspired by our messages. #MortonElStars #RandomActOfKindness @KatQuain

Today, we read the poem “ Dog” by Valerie Worth. To gain a greater understanding of the poem, we acted it out. We learned that imagery helps us to understand what we are reading.

Thank you @mradamwelcome for inspiring me to try something new today. My students explored Code.org and they loved it! My students started to engage in a way that I haven’t seen before. Immediately, their whole body language changed. I loved seeing them relaxed.
