We're seeing a drop in overall hiring activity for sure but there is still tons of opportunity out there. Smart companies are making moves now, great companies are still hiring in select roles, there's just no room for low value talent, be high value and you're good.
I’ve found the mindset from those days sticks. I’m still happy to build a desk or whatever is needed but then also sometimes a person in my company I’ve never heard of will email me about a policy I didn’t know we had.
Being an early-stage founder involves some absurd context switching One meeting, you're convincing people you'll be a $100b company. 30 minutes later, you're arts + crafting because someone asked for something on company letterhead and you're trying to look like a real company
