JMU had the talent to go 12-0 this season. It was always a long shot, but after UNC it should have been the expectation. Unfortunately the coaching staff, especially offensively, wasn’t able to make scheme and personnel adjustments necessary to fully unleash the Duke’s potential.

Reload don’t rebuild, but this was a rebuild. The Dukes lost a TON in the offseason. There’s a reason Indiana is on the verge of the CFP. But JMU and Bob Chesney didn’t blink. Incredible job building this team into another winner. Can’t wait for next week.
JMU lost its head coach, OC, DC, Player of the Year QB, and most of its defense this offseason. Now the Dukes are 8-2 with a win over UNC and a chance to win the Sun Belt East in late November. Incredible effort from this team and coaching staff through 10 games.
