Cylinder and PHX - how are people controlling this with a heat pump? Are you sticking cool water in the top of your cylinder the whole time your heat pump is getting up to temperature or something else? Does 3 port swing straight away or not til flow is up to temp?

heat pump defrost - what happens when they need to defrost during the hot water cycle - does the 3 port valve swing back to heating mode or is it taking heat from the cylinder? @_heatgeek @cbrookesheating @Damon_BPHR @JezClimas @plumbers_urban

Hot water heat pump and massive radiators for low temp heat pumps in on one of my projects nearing completion. Me for scale

Siting a heat pump where this planter is - as the fence is hit and miss - would you feel comfortable siting less than 300 gap round the back? Would help quite a bit getting in to a small garden @_heatgeek @plumbers_urban @RickmanHeat @Damon_BPHR @cbrookesheating

Sat having a coffee in gran canaria listening to @Damon_BPHR on @Altecnic podcast. News of El Copo doesn't seem to have made these shores though A2A everywhere!

R290 ASHPs that are less wide but taller anyone? vaillant/viessman/NIBE don't quite fit @RickmanHeat @_heatgeek @plumbers_urban @Damon_BPHR @JeremyClimas @cbrookesheating

What are people installing for back flow prevention on glycol ASHPs? (AF valves not possible on this particular commercial job). Regs seem to say Cat 4 so an RPZ valve? @RickmanHeat @_heatgeek @plumbers_urban @Damon_BPHR @cbrookesheating

Boiler temp tracking on particularly cold saturday with all rooms set to 21 degrees. Boiler cycling at minimum output of 15% of 35kW = 5.25kW even during hot water cycle to 65. 5kW ASHP looks to be good then? @cbrookesheating @plumbers_urban @Damon_BPHR @JeremyClimas @_heatgeek

This is like something that is straight out of the programme The Thick Of Things for heavens sake!

people using veritherm for heat loss testing - how do you interpret the confidence range and avoid oversizing? this one here has a heat pump range of 8kW to 13kW which is massive. @cbrookesheating @Damon_BPHR @_heatgeek @plumbers_urban @JeremyClimas
