We need @GovKathyHochul to stay the course and support our transition to electric trucks. It’s clear. Getting zero-emissions trucks on our roads will clean up our air and protect the health of our communities. nyc.streetsblog.org/2024/11/06/opi…

.@AirResources tells the press they voted for this proposal because of climate. The ? the press should ask: Why did every environmental + EJ group - plus climate scientists from Princeton, Yale, Penn, Davis, Stanford, PLUS the former program manager, oppose? Were they ALL wrong?

As NY politicos head back home from Somos, climate change driven wildfire smoke awaits. What will @GovKathyHochul do to act on climate before the Trump admin starts? Signing #climatesuperfund and kicking off congestion pricing would be good starts.

Total hypocrisy from @GovKathyHochul who is still sitting on $16.5 billion for public transit available right now with the flip of a switch

Gov. Hochul calls on Trump to fund the MTA, the Hudson River rail tunnel and the Second Avenue subway. She says she'll work with him on those issues, but if he tries to hurt New Yorkers: "I will fight you every step of the way."

In @GovKathyHochul address, she states New York as being the birthplace of the environmental justice movement. To live up to the legacy of that movement, and especially in the face of this upcoming administration, here's what Hochul MUST do 🧵 1) Pass #NYHEAT to cut energy bills

This Friday, @AirResources will vote on the Low Carbon Fuel Standard. We need the Board to vote NO on this broken rule that favors polluting combustion fuels over all-electric options. calmatters.org/commentary/202…

We're not surprised that manufacturers are putting PROFITS over PROGRESS in the transition to zero-emission trucks. Truck manufacturers need to stop misleading dealers, regulators, and the public. #ZeroMustMeanZero! More from @nrdc: nrdc.org/bio/guillermo-…

I was arrested & interrogated in Argentina during the 70's "Dirty War'' in which its president sought to rid the country of "the enemy within" with the help of his military. 30,000 Argentines disappeared. Americans should be terrified at such talk from a presidential candidate.

“Yes, I think we should take those words seriously,” former Trump Defense Secretary Mark Esper says after Trump suggested using the U.S. military against the “enemy from within.”

A reminder that this is one example why it is very bad that agencies outside DEC aren’t using our climate law in their decision making processes. Expanding highways is bad for climate, public health, and taxpayer dollars.
