Exposure to tobacco and caregivers who use alcohol or drugs increase their infants risk of SIDS and other accidental sleep related deaths. Keep your baby and yourself healthy by avoiding tobacco and alcohol!! ‼️‼️
Pacifier use has been shown to help reduce the risk of SIDS! Remember, the baseline is always the ABCs of safe sleep but there are other things you can do to help further reduce your baby's risk and pacifier use is one of them!
Reminder- babies should sleep ALONE in their own sleep space that means no items in the crib and no people (including siblings) but room-sharing is encouraged! Share a room, never a bed!!

In addition to following the ABCs of safe sleep, there are other tips you can follow to help keep your little one safe! Avoid overheating by never overdressing baby or covering their head (NO HATS) during sleep and breastfeeding can also help reduce your little one's risk.
