Reminder- babies should sleep ALONE in their own sleep space that means no items in the crib and no people (including siblings) but room-sharing is encouraged! Share a room, never a bed!!

⚠️ Risk: Overheating increases baby’s risk for other sleep-related death. ✅ Tip: Reduce risk by using a wearable blanket or 1 layer more than you would wear, dressing baby for the room temperature, and removing hats when baby is indoors. go.nih.gov/lneL0yf#SafeTo

⚠️ Risk: Soft toys, non-fitted/loose bedding, or weighted items in the sleep area increase baby’s risk of other sleep-related death. ✅ Tip: Reduce risk by clearing the sleep area, except for a fitted sheet on the mattress. #ClearThe Crib go.nih.gov/lneL0yf#SafeTo
