Very sad news. Living Legend of @alexandriava Joe Shumard died suddenly on Oct. 17. There are no words for the magnitude of this loss to the city and the lives that he touched. My heart is broken. #RIP Joe
When splitting wood (like I've been doing lately), it can seem as if you're working hard but not making any headway. Then...BOOM!...it splits! The bigger the opportunity, the harder the work. Sharpen your axe & don't quit. The wood WILL split, but ONLY when the work is done.
