Most spring vaccination appointments will be offered by GP practices and community pharmacies. People can get information, help with booking an appointment, or check their eligibility, by contacting the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Vaccination Helpline on 0300 561 0018.
People may be invited by text, letter or NHS app if registered to use it. Eligible individuals don’t need to contact their practice directly about getting vaccinated, as they will be invited to come forward when it is their turn.
Over 235,000 people across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight are eligible for a COVID-19 spring vaccine, including everyone aged 75 and over, and those with a weakened immune system.
Eligible individuals will be invited to book either directly through their GP practice or, from Wednesday this week (5 April), using the national booking service or NHS app. The first appointments will become available from Monday 17 April.
