Harvest is about to explode. If the weather keeps up this is going to be an amazing vintage of wine...
Working on the 2012 bottling schedule..so far we are looking at a production of around 23,600css..1st bottling starts January..
First punch downs of the year..2011 Pinot Noir :) tomorrow more vineyard samples...we should get more fruit Thursday and Friday for sure
Today was the first day of crush 13+ tons of Los Amigos Pinot Noir clone Swan...two open tops, very last weekend we are doing 48hr cold soak
Almost done bottling for this year..will be done tomorrow..then it's time to get ready for harvest..it's going to be great for H&L Winery
Working on getting out of bed...selecting barrels for our 2009 Merlot and doing 2009 Sangiovese, Carignane and Syrah for wine club. 75css
I need more sleep, still going through post harvest recovery...H&L 2010 wines are turning out great, we are very lucky
Great wine maker lunch with my family, now at home drinking negra modelo...wine shipment today was a joke...truck drivers suck. some times..
Bottling olive oil, making blends and doing another round of rack and returns for the 2009 heavy reds...tons of work and very little time
Blending consolidating and bottling..more then enough work, small crew is starting to feel the crunch...great wines though:)
