Great idea! Can you give me a list of the beaches you haven’t covered in sewage?

Why not take a holiday break in the UK to avoid the delays into France? Plenty of great places to stay.

Remembering that time during lockdown when Victoria Derbyshire had the phone number for the National Domestic Abuse Helpline written on her hand while she read the news. Can't imagine her ever dismissing a broken nose as a one-off. #bbcqt

#sackfionabruce #ToryScum #IStandWithLineker Paying my TV licence, means I effectively pay for Fiona Bruce's wages .. I do not want one penny spent on someone who makes excuses for any kind of domestic violence against anyone. she should be sacked immediately.. whose with me ?

The PM cannot distance himself from the Lineker impartiality row, because it has become intertwined with the dispute over whether its chair Sharp is sufficiently impartial following the circumstances of his appointment. And only the government can hire or fire a BBC chair

Anyone supporting Lineker but saying "defund the BBC" is literally saying what the hard right ultimately wants to hear... "Reform the BBC" must be the priority...

A long line of letters sent to MPs about the women killed in their constituency since last IWD. If you’d like to follow on the many who didn’t reply or attend the debate yesterday please respond with your constituency and I’ll let you know 💔

Labour: “The BBC’s cowardly decision to take Gary Lineker off air is an assault on free speech in the face of political pressure. Tory politicians lobbying to get people sacked for disagreeing with Government policies should be laughed at, not pandered to. BBC should rethink.”

How about some essential balance ? Just like Gary this bloke is sometimes employed by the BBC for his respected expertise . He too presents his views publicly . Just wondering if anyone in the government wants to retrospectively kick off about these tweets ? Nah, don’t suppose so

Any changes announced by @BorisJohnson this evening will apply to England only. I'll set out any changes for Wales next week based on the latest scientific data. Until then, we'll continue our amazing vaccination programme that's already fully vaccinated 2/3 of adults in Wales.

It’s broken isn’t it ? We’ve broken what we do with food . Pears grow in the U.K. They could grow in our gardens . We could walk out and pick them , wipe them and eat them . No chemicals , no processing , no plastic , no planes , no sell by dates . Just fresh fruit . God help us

In light of the fact that Andrew #Marr has revealed that he caught #covid (despite being double-vaxxed) from covering #g7summit2021 in Cornwall, can we please talk about implications of international travel, mass events and what high infection rates might mean for our vaxx prog?

Rate of cases in Cornwall has climbed to an astonishing 131/100K post #G7Summit2021 compared to 90/100,000 for England. Hospitalisations also going up; so why isn't there surge testing in Cornwall? Venting my frustrations in this piece @IndependentSage bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan…

Can I recommend this Facebook group to anyone suffering from #LongCovid I go there regularly to read or comment myself. We are all trying to find out whether our problems are 'mine alone' or a symptom of what is in effect a 'syndrome'.

Many of the 40,000+ members of our @long_covid Facebook group are unable to work at all or to their previous capacity, more than a year after falling ill. They need the rights and protections of the Equality Act

Could I congratulate all who did their best to prevent Labour from winning the last election because - thank God - we got a party in power that did all it could to protect all its citizens.
