Milestone hit: Objective assignment progression system! This core feature is what creates the game loop. In the HUD, a summary of the current and previous objective is available, which changes when progressing. #ue5 #gamedev #indiedev #chatGPT #crowdSimulator #indiegames


For now, generative storybuilding is done through CSV files. Additionally, I designed a custom syntax which relies on basic variable name replacement. In the future I might build out a visual tree structure planner to make this easier #gamedev #indiedev #crowdSimulator

Created a narrative system where a designer can specify objectives in their story. Supported NPCs are chosen at random and have these objectives blended into their prompts. Also extends to objects like doors and containers. #ue5 #gamedev #indiedev #crowdSimulator #indiegames
