@GovunspunFBPolitically neutral, tired of both sides spouting dogmatic positions from narrow viewpoints. Time to open minds and ask intelligent questions

Campaign finance idea: funds raised for a party are split evenly among all candidates of that party. Funds raised after nominations are concluded are split evenly among all parties. If a negative ad is run using those funds, that candidate loses access to the fund
Seems like people only belive and trust the reports or reporters they agree with. It is risky for reporters too if they step the least bit out of line with what is considered p.c. or deviate from the media outlet's message. If they do the best they can hope for is to be fired
"destroyed" "slammed" "dominated" We need to stop using these terms and desiring these results for those we simply disagree with, else the "winner" loses freedom of speech for everyone. There is far too much hatred and venom for the most fluid political system in the world
This post is from a friend with strong south and central American lineage who was fired upon by police after accidentally backing into one of their vehicles. She was fortunately not hit, though her vehicle was.
The firestorm surrounding the recent school shooting has presented Democrats with two valuable opportunities. 1 a sympathetic rallying issue 2 cover and distraction from the DACA failure
If I had been at a school where a shooter had run rampant, I do not think I would ever want to return. If I had to, I would strongly desire to have a way to protect myself and a plan to evade the shooter. Trust in government to provide protection would be completely eliminated
Those seeking to restrict or eliminate the right to bear arms, thinking that it would keep criminals from getting guns, should bear in mind drugs are severely restricted. Hasn't even slowed the flow of illegal drugs. If the desire is not eliminated the problem won't be either
Guns exist. No amount of regulation can change that fact. I wish they did not. I also wish that the human race did not seek to dominate and destroy each other. Because they do, I would fear that physically weaker people would be easy prey if denied such an equalizing tool
